After placing a yellow bed, then deleting it and replacing it with a light blue bed, I noticed that the colour of the bed didn't change to blue, but instead glitched back to yellow. After this I logged out, and back in and placed the blue beds down again but replaced one with a yellow bed, which glitched back to a blue bed again.
