What I expected to happen was...:
the fox(es) would pick up the items I dropped for them in their mouth(s)
What actually happened was...:
nothing. the items remained on the ground as if the fox(es)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Spawn a fox or two in creative mode
2. Drop some items near it for it to pick up
3. Nothing happens for some reason
