Animals that are in the world are not moving and baby animals are not growing up. Animals observed to have this behavior are Cows, Baby Cows, Chickens, Baby Chickens, Pigs, Baby Pigs, Sheep, Baby Sheep, Horses, Squid.
Enemy mobs, Zombie Pigmen, and Bats (Bats seemed to have abnormally high spawn rates) have been observed to have normal behavior.
Animals will breed, but only in close proximity and will not move closer to breed. Baby animals will not grow into adult animals.
This bug applies to any animals naturally spawned, bred, or using the /summon command.
Animals also will not start moving toward food they like or after being punched.
Other behavior such as egg drops from chickens and sheering from sheep are normal. And drops from killing animals are normal.
