In the screenshot below. For some reason while above the Nether. Redstone devices like pressure plates, tripwire and similar things of that nature trigger even when above them. The longer I stayed the more further down the devices trigger. 

I've noticed it's only when above the nether roof this strange behavior occurs, in the overworld, it doesn't seem to happen.

I've also tested this phenomenon in the End and it doesn't happen either, it's only unique to the Nether and the Nether alone, and only when above 128 and pressure plates above 128.

I've tried this on a few worlds (both of which were created in 1.13 but upgraded to snapshot)
and had this issue occur.
