      Moderator Note

The Mobile Intel 965 Express video card is unable to run 1.7.4 and future versions of Minecraft PC edition on Windows. You will need to buy a new video card or computer to play new versions. Alternatively, you may use an alternate operating system, such as linux, since the issue lies in the graphics drivers provided by Intel.

For now, you can still play 1.7.2 or older versions of the game. To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile. In the "Use Version" dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.

If that won't help, try enabling VBOs and VSync. If that won't help, please use the Mojang Support Center.

Launching the game with the launcher works fine (although there is a handled FileNotFoundException which does not affect the game). However minimising the game causes it to crash immediately:

A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x000000000c90930a, pid=7448, tid=6268
Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows
      Problematic frame:
      C [ig4icd64.dll+0x84930a] DllMain+0x10cc0a

I believe this is not a Minecraft error, but an actual JVM error. Attached is the log, which tells me the error occurred in "Native Code".

At the time, I still had the launcher open, but upon further testing this does not matter.
