Many times when I try to trade emeralds for a empty map with the cartographer, the purple particles won't show up and the game stops working.

My character can still move but everything else seems to stop (the other villagers stop emitting sounds and stop moving).

Then I go back to the main menu I reload my world and everything gets back to the very moment before I made the trade (emeralds for empty map).

I searched for similar bugs, but couldn't find anything.
