After having killed the Ender Dragon, I went to the end gateway, i've pilled up some block to attain it, i've shot my ender pearl trough the end gateway.

I expected to be teleported to the others end islands

but instead I was teleported back to the obsidian platform of the main end island.

Steps to reproduce:

1.Kill the Ender Dragon

2.shoot an underpearl through the end gateway
