I expected the end gateway to teleport the mobs, items and the player to the end cities.

Unfortunately a bug that took so long to find teleported mobs, items and players back to the end base.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the end dimension
2. Kill the dragon
3. Get an entity through the end gateway

{the entity appears back at the end base much to many players' shock}
