So I have noticed, as I have been playing, that any trees that I grow, naturally (over time), or by bone meal. Half of the tree logs turn into dirt. Then, once I chop it down, about 5 blocks away saplings and sticks just rain down from the heavens. Before one of my spruce trees despawned after cutting it down, I had 521 Spruce Saplings and 672 sticks. The leaves still drop saplings and sticks as they despawn or break but it is really ruing my framerate and performance. Below is a picture of a Dark Oak Tree after growing like this. The Dark Oak Tree also doesn't grow with Dark Oak logs or leaves, it is all regular oak. It seems to be the only tree to do this though. Also, notice in the background the levitating saplings. I have noticed that over a period of time they will start to levitate like this. If this happens, the levitating sapling starts spewing out more saplingsĀ and sticks. Hope you can fix this Mojang!
