What I expected to happen was...:
I expect after chopping down the tree the leaves would begin dissolving dropping saplings and sticks.  This does not happen.

What actually happened was...:
Leaves stay.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Chop down tree.
2. Wait for leaves to dissolve.
3. Leaves will remain --over multiple minecraft days.
