i started messing around with the crossbow enchantments, first i noticed they were not in the creative menu so i searched for them and after messing around a bit with them i tried to enchant a bow with multishot and it did encahnt it but it didn't work so i tried to enchant a bow with piercing IV and chcekced the damage and it did the same damage as a reguler bow after thinking this through a bit i came to sudden realisation that it could be because they are not catagorised to any tab in the creative menu so i tried to enchant some other random stuff and it worked so i reported it, good luck and hope i helped!
