As the title says, the in-game resolution is not the same as chosen in the launcher. The selected resolution in the launcher for me has always been 1778x1000 but the new version(1.13) in game this resolution is 3556x2000. This new version of Minecraft is not respecting the selected resolution in game and only applying my preference to the actual window, based on the selected Mac Display of Look like 1920x1200.
Like in the images attached, Both 1.12 and 1.13 have the same Window size of 3556x2044 but the Resolution in game is completely different, in 1.12 is 1778x1000(Like it should) but in 1.13 is 3556x2000. That shows No difference in graphics look and only makes the CPU/GPU work harder and hotter and have a big impact in performance.
I do not run the game in Fullscreen so the slider does not apply to this case.
Will Mojang fix this problem in the next update?
