Using "/setblock <x> <y> <z> <block> destroy" will only drop a normal unnamed chest when targeted at a named chest. Other data is likely lost too.
Steps to reproduce:
- Name a chest in an anvil
- Place the chest on the ground
- Stand on the chest and type "/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:air destroy"
- The name you gave the chest will now be lost
