I was trying to launch Minecraft one day but it says it "wasn't responding." So I looked up ways to fix it, one fix was to use Task Manager to "end" Minecraft Launcher's task. Another was to use the old launcher to boot up Minecraft that way. So I first tried the Task Manager way, that worked, then I tried the old launcher method. The old launcher ended up making my skin appear as a Steve or Alex on servers. To fix this I moved back to the new launcher (to get my skin back), booted up the game, joined a Single player world, but my skin WASN'T there! I tried going onto a private Minecraft server, no skin. Popular server, no skin, and even a Realm, no skin! I looked up ways to get my skin back, so I took my mind off of the matter and made an improved version of my skin. I uploaded that (by the launcher) and my skin didn't appear, I took a glance at the launcher to see my skin spinning around, but it was my old skin, not the new one I made. I tried again and the same thing happened. So I decided to upload my skin (from Minecraft.net) it told me my skin was saved, so I looked at the launcher to see my NEW skin spinning around. Then I booted up the game, NO SKIN. I looked at other bug reports and other people said they experienced the same thing. I read up that maybe an AntiVirus was blocking the file or something, so I uninstalled some shady AntiVirus'. I booted up Minecraft after I uninstalled the AntiVirus', but guess what NO SKIN. If anyone could give me ideas on what to do, to fix the skin problem and the not responding problem, please reply. My WiFi has been fine over these past few days so it's not my connection. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
