      Description

Damaging the ender dragon will not increment your score on an objective with the "minecraft.custom:minecraft.damage_dealt" criterion.

      To reproduce:

      1. Type in these commands: "/scoreboard objectives add damage minecraft.custom:minecraft.damage_dealt" and "/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar damage". These commands will create an objective named "damage" with the criterion "minecraft.custom:minecraft.damage_dealt" and will set the objective displayed on the right-hand side to be the objective "damage", respectively.
      2. Spawn a creeper and hit it with a diamond sword. You deal 7 damage for each normal hit (equivalent to 3 ½ hearts), which will increase your "damage" score by 70 (1 damage = +10 score, 1 heart = +20 score).
      3. Go to the end, and hit the ender dragon with the diamond sword. You will see its health go down, indicating that you are indeed dealing damage to it, but your "damage" score will not increase in the slightest.
