When you respawn into the game after dying to mobs (like i just did), my crafting preferences didnt restore to the settings i had before i died. So when i have the crafting window open with the knowledge book open, i always have mine set to "always show craftable" but when i died and got my items back and went to the same crafting table, it was all reset to what it was when i spawned in.

I know this doesnt do that in 1.12.2. Its not a huge issue, just a nuisance.
