In a traditional auto chicken cooker, egg dispensed into 1 block space with a slab and lava in the block directly above, once one chicken is produced by an egg, all subsequent eggs dispensed from the dispenser hit the baby chicken, break, and no other chickens are produced. When the original baby chicken grows up and is killed by the lava above, the eggs will produce one more baby and then the cycle starts over. There is only ever 1 baby chicken in the auto cooker kill chamber at a time.
