Some characters don't have the right width or are offset vertically using a custom ttf

      The bug

      Since Minecraft now supports ttf files for fonts, which is actually super cool, I was trying some fonts from my PC. However, they don't always appear as they should.


      The above image is using the ttf file of the popular font type Arial. As you can see (click on it to make it appear bigger), the 't' appears to be too low. Some characters like the 'c', the 'f' or the 't' have not the correct width, instead they seem to be stuck onto the following letters.


      Similar issues with the Roboto font, just with different characters.
