Reproduction:

1. Make sure your OP
2. in my instance i issued command /effect give JoeSchmo21405 minecraft:blindness 1000000 but i have tested with 3 other effects an the same result occurs each time.

Once you hit enter, you will be kicked out of the game with the attached screen message
