The bug
When a fence is placed on a block and a mob is coming towards the block, the fence is first placed, but then is removed because of the entity. The texture of the fences around gets updated when the fence is considered as placed, but when the fence is removed, the texture is not updated.
How to reproduce
- Place two fences from each other, so you can place on in the middle.
- Get sheep, a fence in your offhand and wheat in your hand.
- Press F3 + B; to enable hitboxes.
- Let the sheep walk through the gap between the two fence posts, and IF the sheeps hitbox is half way, place the fence.
→ Fence is placed for around a tick but gets removed; because its interfering with the sheep's hitbox. But; the fence's are shown as connected, they should be updated (as the fence is not placed).
