For the past day or so every time I try to log in to my friend's server the following happens:
Connecting to server... Logging in... Loading Terrain... It sits on Loading Terrain for at least 1-2 minutes before showing the Disconnected message. I can connect to the server just fine in 1.12.2. Another friend of mine had the same issue a day before with the same server. We were able to get him connected by moving the server over to a new world and having him delete his .minecraft folder and reinstall the game. The issue currently has only happened to one person at a time with this version. I.E. It occured to my friend and no one else and now it occurs to me and no one else. My internet connection was solid throughout the connecting process and the server is hosted through a third party. Yesterday after deleting my .minecraft I was only able to join the server once my player profile on the server was moved out of the server folder and there was no one on the server. If there was someone on, I was unable to connect. This morning I was trying to connect with no one on and I was unable to connect. This I feel is a critical bug as it has happened to two different people in a two day timespan, and when in 1.12.2 the issue never occured. Only with 1.13-pre1. Thank you for your time, hopefully this bug is fixed in the next pre-release or in the final version.
