    • A bug regarding Chorus Fruit, Nether Portals, and Teleportation.
    • Unconfirmed
    • (Unassigned)

I and a friend were playing on a Realms server when he started eating Chorus Fruit while teleporting to the Nether. The result led him to be teleported way beyond the portal, approximately 1400 or more blocks away. We tested it and were able to reproduce the bug several times. Apparently, whatever coordinates the nether portal in the overworld is set, once teleported to the nether while eating a chorus fruit, it will send the player to the same coordinates that the overworld had, but in the nether form. Say the X coordinate is 1400, Y coordinate is 58, and Z coordinate is 855 are the coordinates to the overworld portal. When we used chorus fruit the second before teleporting, it sent us to 1400, 58, 855, but in the Nether, which understandably was far away. A link to a clip of the bug is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDNn1OUuw-0&feature=youtu.be
