Unconfirmed
- launch minecraft 1.12.2
- create a new default survival world with cheats enabled
- enter new world. turn around 360 degrees and wait a minute for terrain generation
- log out
- launch 1.13 pre, enter world created in 1.12.2
- give elytra and fireworks rockets
- fly around the border of the generated terrain, causing new chunks to be generated
- game will eventually be in a state where the UI is responsive, you can look around and move, but cannot interact or use items. game will not exit cleanly in this state.
