Creepers that jump off a cliff/ledge (as in a ravine) explode next to a player almost the moment they impact. Literally like 2/10th a a second. There is no chance to respond. Can't even get a shield up to block it.

I know this will probably be resolved as WAI. But being a hardcore player, I'm just really getting sick of the sudden instant death this imposes. Darn things should still have their timer to give me a chance to back off or raise a shield. I can't even get a full curse word before I'm dead! It's just 'thumphiss' "Shi*BOOM*t!"

 

Really hating this screen...but non-hardcore is boring w/ little challenge.
