I like to sync my Minecraft saves across my computers, so when I first go Minecraft I symlinked the saves directory to a folder in Dropbox. This worked fine, except when I started testing the Update Aquatic snapshots (I started with 18w07a), it crashed throwing a
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.nio.file.FileAlreadyExistsException
. I originally thought that it was clashing with my 1.12 worlds and put it in a separate directory. However, further testing revealed that it was crashing due to my symlink system.
I commenced a series of further tests, the most recent of which involved emptying Dropbox to ensure that none of my files were causing the crash. The output of said test I enclose in a TXT file attached to this report.
Please fix this as soon as possible, as I like my worlds to sync
