I was on an extended exploration trip and was returning to the base near the world spawn point. I was heading north and the game just crashed. It now crashes immediately as soon as the game renders the first few frames with the boat in the water and my character beside it.

I see my character (who was in a boat) spawn into the game as soon as the loading sequence finished. My character is in the water next to the boat. Before I manage to get into the boat, the game crashes again.
