When water flows into a slab, instead of stopping the water from flowing it will become a water source itself. All types of slabs new and all are the same. other type of waterlogged blocks work as intended, like signs, stairs. trapdoors and etc.
It means with something like the image you can make an infinite water source with just one bucket of water.
