Pretty much summed up in summary, when being on a single player world if you look on seagrass and press escape, the animation is still happening.
I thought of how torches worked in a way that the animation doesn't happen if you press escape, but then I thought that there's a difference between particles and animation.
I still think that it's not supposed to happen with seagrass though.
