When breeding turtles in an area with little amounts of sand, they dont lay their eggs which is understandable. However, when the area of sand is increased and the conditions for egg laying are favorable the turtle will not enter the egg laying process and instead live the rest of its life being pregnant. Since its already pregnant it is unable to be bred again making the turtle basically broken. In the image attached there is a pregnant turtle that has been like this for 5 hours now. My two other turtles have bred as you can see by the egg in the upper right hand corner of the image.
