The bug
When a slab that is not waterlogged is adjacent to water, the sides of the block show the water texture.
This might not be considered a bug when it occurs under normal conditions but when the slabs are used to create a slope it just looks very weird.
How to reproduce
- Find or make an area filled with water
- Break a block in the floor at the bottom of the water-filled area
- Place a top slab in the hole (which doesn't get waterlogged this way)
- Now break a couple of more blocks around it
you can see the water texture on the sides of the slab

MC-91224 Some full blocks cause water to show flowing animation at the sides
