      The bug

When you attack a mob by throwing a Riptide-enchanted trident, the mob often takes knockback in a random direction (sometimes directly towards you) instead of away from you, which would be the expected behavior similar to normal melee and projectile attacks.

      How to reproduce

      1. Set weather to rain with /weather rain
      2. Give yourself a trident and enchant it with Riptide (/enchant @s riptide, any level works)
      3. Switch to 3rd person mode (using F5) and throw the trident at a mob
