      Description

      Step 1: Find Mooshroom Island
Step 2: Remove all water (flowing/source) in a 257 x 257 area (from bedrock to sky)
Step 3: At the center of the 257 x 257 area create a 13x13 void between levels 30 and 62
Step 4: Place water source blocks, 1 block apart in each direction), in level 63
Step 5: Relocated player to 24 or more blocks away
Step 6 Wait while viewing water coloums (look for squid)
Step 7 Check bottom of pit every ~4 min for ink sacks/squid

      Alt:
Step 1: Download a working squid farm
Step 2: Verify said farm is working
Step 3: Import working Squid farm into Mooshroom Island (void of all water prior to import)
Step 4: Relocate player to 24 or more blocks away
Step 5: Wait while viewing water coloums (look for squid)
Step 7: Check bottom of pit every ~4 min for ink sacks/squid

EDIT: You can teleport @e to the player in this test to also check for squid...still no squid

Note: Solo map (not multiplayer) no change to game rules, happens on all Difficulties.
