The bug

Due to the unique and mainly positive properties of these food items, I expected to be able to eat them in creative mode w/o trouble.
All three can be eaten even when the hunger bar is full, and each one grants useful/positive effects to the player. If you want to utilize the random teleportation of chorus fruits in creative mode for testing, you can't do so currently. If you want to easily gain the absorption effect from golden apples in creative mode, again you can't. Considering that you can drink potions (both positive and negative) in creative mode to gain their effects, it seems inconsistent for golden apples (which grant multiple positive effects, including absorption) to not behave the same way.
