Expected Behavior:

Right-clicking with Knowledge Book grants player recipe listed in knowledge book.

Anomalous Behavior:

When in adventure mode, knowledge books work only when players' cursors are not on any block. This does not occur in creative or survival mode.

How to recreate:

Use
/give @s minecraft:knowledge_book

to acquire recipe book.

Enter adventure mode.

Look at any solid block.

Use recipe book.
