After the Minecraft menu has been launched, I am able to open a server or an existing survival world. Upon spawning in, the game stops responding - I can't open the pause menu, move my character, switch items, look around - but everything else (ie other players, mobs, sounds) works as normal. Sometimes the game stops responding while still on the main menu or singleplayer, multiplayer etc menus, before I've even attempted to spawn in to a world.
