Put the summary of the bug you're having here
What I expected to happen was...:
I opened the Java version of Minecraft and attempted to connect to a multiplayer server. The game should have allowed me to add and connect to said server. When the game crashed shortly after, I though perhaps the problem was with connecting to the server. I tried again several times, and when that did not work, I tried to open a local survival file. This too prompted the game to crash. I then even tried to access the settings, which, a few seconds later, yielded the same results as the previous attempts.
What actually happened was...:
I tried several times to run various update versions of Java Minecraft- including the current version and 1.8.5- on my EliteBook 8440p laptop computer (which has run the game for years up to now) and each time I tried, the game crashed shortly thereafter. Each time it crashed, I got a notice saying: "An unexpected issue has occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience."
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any version/update of java Minecraft (past or current)
2. Open title screen
3. Click any title screen option (Single player, Multiplayer, Options, etc.)
4. Wait about thirty seconds and the game will crash (assuming that your device is having the same issue as mine is)
