Encountered this bug in a superflat world on singleplayer creative. While flying with elytra, looking straight up into the sky (90 degrees) - forcing a stall causes the game to kick the player from the game with the message "Connection lost - Invalid move player packet received" and an option to return to the server list menu "back to server list".

It is possible to reopen the game, but in order to continue playing, one has to quickly move the viewpoint downwards (not 90 degrees straight up), otherwise the game repeats the aforementioned series of events.

This is on singleplayer, no servers involved. I was able to replicate this on singleplayer survival as well.
