So I have this creative-mode world that I downloaded a few years ago, but I've had this mystifying experience lately.
There's a section of the world that's all Jungle biome, and there's a treetop village built at a particular location. And recently, while roaming around there, I keep hearing the sounds of baby zombies around the trees' leaved sections. Curious, I dig into these trees, trying to sound-hoard, but can't find anything. I end up hollowing out these trees to the point where the leaves that I didn't get start to dissipate. Once that starts, I urgently refill the trees because I don't want to ruin the scenery around this treetop village. And after a while, I stop hearing the baby zombies until I go near another tree around the village's vicinity. And once I hear that first growl, I end up doing the same thing, dig into the tree leaves to no avail. I never even find an empty space in the trees' leaves and always make sure I don't leave one myself.
I tried roaming around the rest of the jungle to see if the same thing happens, but from what I've experienced so far, this seems to only happen at this very specific part of the world. I'm not using any mods, so I don't know what's going on. Are there actually baby zombies hiding in the trees and somehow teleporting from tree to tree? Is this a glitch of some sort, like with the sound effects? This is really bothering me, and I can't seem to get myself to focus on anything else in this world.
