Bowl no longer burn in furnace or able to be placed as fuel.

In 17w49a I had a furnace with a bowl in it.
Transitioned to 17w49b.
Placed an item to be cooked (raw chicken), but the furnace didn't work. Removed the bowl and used other item to burn (stick) which worked as expected.
Tried to place the bowl back into the furnace, but I was unable to. Like the item was no longer legitimate fuel source.
Haven't tried other items, but might others (wooden tools) be affected as well.
