So this issue was quite annoying in the past 1-2 years.
Sometimes as I start playing Minecraft, I hear no sound.
Including the start menu.
The only way that I could fix that is by going to - Texturepacks, choose a texturepack and then take it off and then you can hear sounds perfectly fine.
This is a common bug/issue in my opinion and it should be fixed.
