16x16 chunks of blocks randomly appear around my world

A while ago, a 16x16 chunk appeared in a river near my house. I cleared it. Today, I found that another one appeared in my sorting system. It has eaten half of it ... I obviously don't want this to happen again. Sooooo please try to fix it ;-;
