I tried going into a portal while having items in the crafting grid.

What I expected to happen was:
When I entered the portal, the items would leave the crafting grid and go into my inventory (like it does when closing the inventory with 'E')

What actually happened was:
The items stayed in the crafting grid and would only go into my inventory after reopening and closing my inventory. The items vanished after leaving the game but would drop when killed even with keepInventory on.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a nether portal and some water leading up to it.
2. Jump into the water.
3. Put items into the crafting grid.
