Game stopped loading on screen with the text "0%". I decided to press ESC and retried loading again. This time the savegame successfully loaded except for the fact that my coordinates and inventory data had been overwritten. Here's the log for that session:
[07:28:50] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting integrated minecraft server version 1.12 [07:28:50] [Server thread/INFO]: Generating keypair [07:28:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Loaded 488 advancements [07:28:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing start region for level 0 [07:28:52] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 7% [07:28:53] [Server thread/INFO]: Changing view distance to 12, from 10 [07:28:55] [Server thread/INFO]: roopezero lost connection: Disconnected [07:28:55] [Server thread/INFO]: roopezero left the game [07:28:55] [Server thread/INFO]: Stopping singleplayer server as player logged out [07:28:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Stopping server [07:28:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving players [07:28:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving worlds [07:28:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving chunks for level 'Another world...'/overworld [07:28:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving chunks for level 'Another world...'/the_nether [07:28:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving chunks for level 'Another world...'/the_end
As you can see, the lines with "logged in" and "joined the game" are completely missing due to the fact that ESC was pressed before the game had chance to load the character data.
Edit:
After testing my savegame further, it seems like the recipe book has bugged out. It no longer shows the recipes I had before nor does it record new ones unless I actually craft the item.
