I place a chest or double chest, chests become dark as if no lighting is applied. If I look away or change the angle from which I'm viewing the chest it may or may not light up. But the chest adjacent to it may look correct, this happens to me with chests placed in open well lit rooms. Sometimes placing torches also may cause a chest near the torch to turn dark.
