Since the advent of 1.5, we can no longer put a water seal on the snow, water is placed in the block above the snow

      Since the advent of 1.5, we can no longer put a water seal on the snow, water is placed in the block above the snow, and not instead of right click, whereas before the snow was replaced by water, now the water is raised above the snow (not the block of snow, snow)

      What I expected to happen was...:
      The snow should have been replaced by water in the place of my right click.
      What actually happened was...:
      The water was placed in the block above

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Right click with a bucket of water on the snow.
