while exp is in the hopper when you logged of a single player world when you logged back on you would not gain any exp and every time you grabbed the orbs the would come back and every time you got the orbs they would come back. note the exp orbs would not actually give you exp. P.S exiting world or shutting the game down will not stop this from happening.
