      Steps to reproduce

      Make sure that you do not have the advancement 'Take Aim':

      /advancement revoke @p only minecraft:adventure/shoot_arrow
      • Shoot an arrow at yourself, aiming upwards.
        → You get the advancement 'Take Aim'.
