      The bug

      Portals can teleport dying mobs.

      This could be intended.

      How to reproduce

      1. Place a portal 
        /setblock ~ ~ ~2 portal
      2. Summon a dying mob 
        /summon villager ~ ~ ~2 {Health:0f,Glowing:1b,PortalCooldown:0}
      3. Go through the portal and pause the game as soon as you have been teleported
