Going through the Nether Portal puts you at the same coordinates in another dimension.

I was in the overworld and I hopped into my nether portal and before I went through to the other side, the game crashed. I reloaded the world and then I was in the nether, but not at my portal. I was at the same coordinates in the nether which I was previouslyat in the overworld... When I was in the overworld i was at -8000 800 when I hopped through the portal into the nether, the coordinates were also -8000 800 instead of being -1000 100 and there was no portal in sight.

Every time I hop through a portal no matter what the world is, it does the same thing (in survival) the game crashes I reload and im in the wrong coordinates. The bug works both ways going from the nether to the overworld and from the overworld to the nether. You can imagine my frustration when I finally made it back to my portal only to be in the wrong place again Hopefully this is clear enough to replicate.
