You can view the 3x3 bed recipe from your crafting inventory, but the items overlap into your head and armor slot. Attempting to craft the bed will not craft the bed but will result in a block on your head and your chest, possibly duplicating the chest item you currently have. Moving the duplicated item will make it reset back to 1 item.
